After School Program
PLGA partners with Think Together to enhance student learning for students across all grade levels, after school.
Students enrolled in the program experience:
- small class sizes
- learning centered on STEAM based approach that provides students with opportunities to increase problem solving skills and engage in real world thinking
- youth development
- art and enrichment centered activities

Athletics
Palm Lane provides opportunities to develop skills within various sports while promoting team building and positive interactions among peers. Palm Lane partners with Active Education which strives to encompass fun and healthy activities with an emphasis on Social Emotional Learning and Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports (PBIS). All students are provided opportunities to develop their talents and abilities both during the school day and afterschool.
School Clubs
PLGA provides opportunities for students to further develop their talents and abilities through participation in various school clubs including:
- Student Council Leadership Team
- Dance Arts Academy (hip hop and jazz classes)
- Theatre
- Robotics
- Podcasting
- soccer
- basketball
- Cub Scouts of America
Tutoring
After School tutoring opportunities are provided to all students in reading and mathematics throughout the school year. Parents and families are also welcomed to participate in its Latino
Literacy program which aims to promote language acquisition and reading comprehension.
